Chinese Jade Fish. This carp-like fish sits upon rolling waves and embraces a large pearl. I have no idea of the iconography or age of this piece. The piece is well executed and has a wonderful finish. This would be a great touchstone for any scholar out there! The piece is 2 ¾" tall and 1 ¾"across the base. The condition is excellent with nice brown inclusions along the dorsal fin. It is enclosed in a gold silk box with blue liner.
